If you have a directory on your web server that you do not want anyone to have root accesss to them follow the steps below:

1) Using CPanel file manager or your FTP software, get access to the directory

2) Access the permissions option for the directory.

3) Change the permission to the following:

Owner: Select Read, Write, Execute

Group: Select Execute and then Deselect Read, Write

World: Select Execute and then Deselect Read, Write
