Description

You can create internal and external links in your website articles. An internal link is a link to another article or extension within your Joomla website. An external link is a link to a web address outside of your website. You can add links to a single word, multiples words or an image. The instructions below shows how to add a hyperlink.

Step By Step

1) Login to the Administrator area of your Joomla website.

2) Click Content from the menu bar.

3) Click Article Manager.

4) Click on the article title of the article you want to edit.

5) Select the word(s) or image that you want to add a hyperlink to.

6) Click the Link button from the editor's toolbar.

7) In the Select Link Type dropdown box under the Content area, select the link type uncategorised.

8) In the Select Uncategorized dropdown box, select the article that you to be linked.

9) Click Insert.

The hyperlink is now created for the word or image you selected.

Tip: Use the same steps above if you want to create a link to a Contact or to content that you have in organized in Sections and Categories.
